Another thing I have stopped obsessing over is followers.

Followers are nice.

Likes are more important.

A follow can happen because someone liked one post.

A like is someone raising their hand and saying, “This resonates.”

When the same people keep liking your content over weeks and months, something else is happening.

You are moving into memory.

That is where future pipeline lives.

People rarely buy after seeing one post.

They buy after seeing the tenth one.

The one that arrives exactly when they have the problem you have been talking about all along.

So stop asking how to get more followers.

Ask yourself whether you are creating things people genuinely want to share.

Attention is borrowed.

Memory compounds.

And pipeline usually starts with someone saying,

“You should see what these guys just built.
