Cut Through the Noise:

Practical Playbooks for Cybersecurity Startups.

About Me

I’m Dan, a British-Turkish growth strategist with a habit of turning complex cybersecurity technology into commercial momentum.

Over the past eight years I have written more than 300 investor grade business plans, guided early stage founders through seed and Series A raises, and helped a DNS security vendor scale from a modest US $0.5 million turnover to US $4.5 million while locking in US $3.2 million in annual recurring revenue. Along the way I’ve navigated three jurisdictions’ tax regimes, secured £300 k in UK R&D relief, and built partner ecosystems that doubled revenue year on year.

My technical lane runs wide: DNS layer security, IAM, EDR, NDR and Zero-Trust architecture. I speak developer and boardroom in equal measure, translating packet level detail into buyer persona insights, pricing models and go-to-market blueprints that win budget approval.

This blog exists for myself and for you founders, GTM leaders and CISOs who want unvarnished, data driven guidance. Expect teardown articles on industry mergers, playbooks for shortening enterprise sales cycles, and plain English explainers on my personal experience.

No hype, no recycled press releases just field notes from someone who has built the slide deck, crunched the numbers and sat across the table from both investors and auditors.

When I’m not reverse engineering sales funnels, you’ll find me training for the next IRONMAN, or indulging my unlikely hobby of arm wrestling technique. Fluent in English, Turkish and Mandarin, I’m as comfortable working across time zones as I am debugging a lead scoring model at 2 a.m.

If you’re looking for clarity in a market that thrives on jargon or you simply need a second pair of eyes on your growth plan drop me a note. Let’s turn your security innovation into measurable, sustainable revenue.
